Randal Kohn

I remember buying my first proper camera. An Olympus OM1, yep the film version. I ventured into medium format (Bronica) and took on some commercial work documenting museum objects. Still do the occasional paying job, however, these days making images is more about story and sometimes a big print for a wall. I went digital in 2010, its so much more flexible.

I cart way too much gear into wild places, but I also like the way the lines and planes of industrial infrastructure work well with photography. I am interested in the ways humans change the landscape to better suit their needs, or rarely to protect it. You can read more in my blog pages.

I don’t want to upkeep a shop on this site, so if your interested in a print of any size contact me. If you download an image I ask you attribute me if your going public with it. Easy.
